Qualifications And Skills
- Current Georgia State Certification as a School Psychologist is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, with Master’s degree in Psychology required; Ph.D. in Psychology preferred
- Prior experience in teaching is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation necessary to support school visits and meetings
Key Responsibilities
- Administer comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret evaluation results
- Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Consult with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents to address student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and ongoing support services
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams to promote student social, emotional, and academic success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
